WHAT A WORLD WE LIVE IN

There are two types of world, the spirit and the physical world or  environment.

 THE PHYSICAL WORLD
The physical world, also called the material world or the general environment according to natural sciences, is divided into four categories, as follows: The atmosphere, the hydrosphere, the lithosphere and      the biosphere.

The Atmosphere
The atmosphere consists of the wind, the cloud and the air. It has been discovered that there are demons(evil spirits) that live in
the air. According to St. Paul in his letter to the Ephesians,             Chapter 6 verse 12, he said, "We are not fighting against flesh
and blood but against the wicked spiritual forces in the hevenly world". These wicked spiritual forces may be refered to as
atmospheric demons or environmental demons.

Daniel in the bible confronted this type of demon when he prayed for twenty-one days. The gqeen of Peersia waged a war
(spiritual) against the angel of God for complete twenty
one days and the battle ground was in the air. Some of the demons remain in the air from where they come down to
operate on earth.

The Hydrosphere
According to natural sciences, seventy-five percent of the earth surface is covered by water. Hydrosphere refers to ocean, lakes,
streams, rivers, water below the earth and above. Careful           study of the book of Revelation in the bible reveals that most of
the demons are living in the waters, especially the marine spirits, or the water spirits.

People get possessed more easily by water spirits than by any other spirits. This spirits are called hydrospheric demons or
marine spirits, water spirits, familiar spirits, etc. They all mean the same thing.

The Lithosphere
Lithosphere refers to the soil, the rocks, the mountains, the valleys and other things within the soil. Scientifically, there are
alot of mineral resources we get from the soil throughout the world.
Though rocks, mountains and valleys can have alot of mineral resources, it has been discovered that there are demons in the
rocks and mountains. The fact is that demons can inhabit any
object where they are comfortable. Children of God should therefore make demons uncomfortable at all times and in all places by praying constantly and living holy lives. The living of a
holy life is any child of God most powerful weapons against the demons.

The Biosphere
Biosphere according to natural sciences consists of plants that grow and also animals. Plants are very good, they assist us in
our daily life. However, it has also been discovered that plants
and animals could be possessed by one or more demons.

THE SPIRIT WORLD
The spirit world is inside the physical or material world. 1 Peter 2:9-10 says that "you are a chosen race, a holy nation, God's own people, chosen to proclaim the wonderful acts of God, who called you out of darkness into his own marvelous light". Two things are obvious in this particular passage: There is the kingdom of light and there is that of darkness. These represent two world, the kingdom of light in the physical and the kingdom of darkness in the same physical world. This kingdom of darkness is the spirit world where demons dwell. This explains why there can never be perfect peace on earth.
In the spirit worrd there are fourteen plains of existence. Just as we have nine planets, so also they have levels of plains of spirit existence in the spirit world.

THE TRUE GOD AND THE FALSE GODS

We in the world are in a struggle between the true God and the false gods. But the question is, "Who is God? Where is He to be found?" The true God is very different from the false gods. The first characteristic of the true God is that He is always of the future, because He is acting in history, and we can never know Him completely and perfectly, though we know what He did in the past, but we know not all that He is going to do in the future, including all that He is doing at this moment throughout the world.

It is a new reality that our true God is to be discovered by ourselves, to be revealed to ourselves. All the actions in the past are symbols, traditional orientations made in order to understand what God is doing now in our world. But we have to discover the true God who created heaven and earth.  Where is He acting? If we are to meet Him, we have to discover Him. We have to understand where He is active or effective in our world today.

The true God is not leaving the human society as it is, He is changing it. He is entering into our world. He is setting a permanent conflict between Himself and false gods that are in action. He is acting in human society in order to destabilize and destroy the false gods and establish His own kingdom.

CONCLUSION
How can human beings or a Christian confront the demons? Once a Christian is baptised in the name of Jesus Christ in a proper way, the power of God is in him or her and is automatically higher than the demons because he or she is a child of God. So whenever the person mentions the name of Jesus Christ, demons submit to him or her. The Christian will be able to cast out evil spirits in his or her life through continuous prayers, santification and total submission of oneself to the grace of God.

Secondly, human beings need spiritual sight to make a discernment between the false kingdom of the false gods and the true kingdom of the true God. It is important for you to know or have a little knowledge about the false kingdom of the gods because, according to Ephesians 6:12, "We are not fighting against flesh and blood but against the wicked spiritual forces in the heavenly world, the rulers, authorities and cosmic powers of this dark age".
Thirdly, to be able to discover the strategies of the false gods and their agents, you need to be a man or woman of prayer. You need to be in God completely by praying always. In this way you will be able to spy into the territory of the gods and their plans will be revealed to you by the Holy Spirit. That explains the reason why the demons hate the committed Christian more than any other person in the world.
May God help us.
